The song was picturized on pre-teen characters of Krishnam Raju and Sujatha. The movie is a remake of Amitab starrer, "Muqaddar Ka Sikandar" with Krishnam Raju, Sujatha, Chiranjeevi, Jayasudha and Sathyanarayana in the roles of Amitab, Rakhee, Vinod Khanna, Rekha and Amjad Khan respectively. The orginal hindi song in the same context is "O Saathire.. tere bina bhi kya jeena" and Dasari used this tune for his Rangoon Rowdy movie (even before this movie was released). 71 Mallepula Maraniki Amara Jeevi Chakravarthi Veturi Released in 1983 and directed by Jandhyala. The song was picturized on ANR and Jayaprada. This is the only one movie in the combination of ANR and Jandhyala and also the first movie in the combination of Jandhyala and Chakravarthi. Jandhyala always preferred melodious music directors (Ramesh Naidu and Rajan-Nagendra) for his earlier movies and was hesitant to work with a mass music director like Chakravarthi, but the Chakravarthi proved Jandhyala wrong with a melodious song like this one and later they went on doing a few more movies (such as bAbAyi-abbAyi, puttaDi bomma, chanTabbAyi etc) together. This song was, in fact, done for a Prasad Arts Movie, which got shelved later. Veturi had taken just 12 minutes to write this song and Chakravarthi came up with the tune after the song was written. The story line goes like this - ANR and Sumalatha love each other. Before they get married, Sumalatha commits suicide and her elder sister believes ANR is the culprit and wants to take revenge on him by prentending love with him. Once ANR`s family is ready for the wedding, Jayaprada reveals that she doesn`t love ANR and just wants to take revenge on him. Later she realizes that Narasimha Raju is responsible for Sumalatha`s suicide. Later Sarath Babu and Jayaprada get married to each other. Sarath Babu misunderstands the closeness between ANR and Jayaprada and starts harassing her. When Sarath Babu loses his eye-sight in an accident, ANR donates his eyes to him and lets every one know his sacrifical love towards Jayaprada and her well-being and thus becomes an "amara jeevi". This movie disappointed every one financially.

The song was picturized on Krishna, Kanchana, Padmanadham, Githanjali and Chorus. Probably this is the first color movie with a full-fledged suspense theme. All family members are murdered one by one in Kanchana`s family and Krishna (her lover and a CID officer) finally traces down the killer. It seems that this movie was simultaneously made in both Telugu and Tamil versions. As far as I know the music director, Veda worked for two more movies, nEnU manishinE (again Krishna`s movie) and Ame evaru? (a remake of Woh Kaun Thi movie). 19 Pata Aginda.. Oka Seat Govinda Collector Janaki V Kumar C Narayana Reddy V_link Released in 1972 and produced by SS Balan. This hilarious song was picturized on Nagabhushanam, Jaggayya, Jamuna, Jayanthi, Rama Prabha etc. This movie is a remake one of Amitabh`s early movies, Sanjog (with Jaggayya, Jamuna, Jayanthi and Nagabhushanam in the original roles of Amitabh, Mala Sinha, Aruna Irani and Mehmood respectively). Jaggayya plays a helpless former lover (to Jamuna) and a husband (to Janathi) roles and Nagabhushanam appears in a mean blackmailer role.

Nindu Manishi Sathyam C Narayana Reddy Released in 1978 and directed by SD Lal. The song was picturized on Sobhan Babu and Deepa. This movie is a remake of Dharmendra starrer, samAdhi (1973). Sobhan Babu appears in the double roles (father and son) and Jaya Chitra, Deepa and Sathyanarayana play the original roles of Asha Parekh, Jaya Bhaduri and Madan Puri respectivley. In the original movie, Dharmendra plays as a decoit, but here Sobhan Babu plays a hot-blooded, patriotic revolutionary (pre-independece days). He, in an unfortunate situation, is responsible for the death of a kidnapped kid (of a businessman, Gummadi) and then in penance, he leaves his own kid with Gummadi and then surrenders to the police and goes to jail. Though Sobhan Babu excelled in the emotional father role, the movie was a commercial failure as the director could not successfully capture the spirit of the original movie. 15 Edarilo Koyila Pantulamma Rajan-Nagendra Veturi Released in 1977, produced by Navatha Krishnam Raju, and directed by Singeetam Srinivasa Rao. The song was picturized on Ranganadh (while singing in a radio station). Ranganadh and Deepa are a happy couple and have a kid. Under some unfortunate circumstances (Deepa is molested by Sarath Babu), Deepa commits suicide and since then Ranganadh gets into a depression state and starts neglecting the well-being of his son. Lakshmi comes into their lives as a teacher (for the kid) and slowly brings Ranganadh out of depression and in the end they both unite. This movie was later dubbed into Malayalam as "Lady Teacher" in 1982. Ranganadh, once in an interview, told that the movie did not help him much, as the movie was a commercial failure inspite of having all excellent melodies.

The song was picturized on Kanchana and Nagabhooshanam. The movie was based on Hindi movie, Albela and Nagabhooshanam plays the original character of the Hindi comedian, Bhagwan. Adiseshayya (Nagaiah) has two sons and a daughter. His younger son Bujjibabu (Nagabhooshanam) likes acting very much. Because of this, he loses many jobs shown by his father. Finally, they have a big quarrel and Bujjibabu is sent out of home by his father. His mother blesses him to become a big star. He spends horrible life without food and forced to join as a domestic worker in the house of Geetha Devi (Kanchana). She later identifies an ctor in him and gavis him a chance to act in her production company. In spite of some resistance from the manager, Rajasekhar (Padmanabham) and the hero, Prem Kumar (Prabhakar Reddy), Nagabhooshanam grows to a big star. Geetha Devi starts loving Bujjibabu. After becoming a star, he goes home and finds them to be facing many problems. Finally, he solves their problems and marries Geetha Devi.Gollapudi once quoted that the movie would not have been a financial disaster, had a hero like ANR acted in the movie. 11 Taranginee..o Na Tarangini Tarangini JV Raghavulu C Narayana Reddy Released in 1983, produced by K Raghava and directed by Kodi Ramakrishna. The song comes while the titles roll on at the beginning of the movie. Syamala Gowri plays the title role and Suman and Bhanu Chandar are in the supporting roles. Suman and Syamala Gowri are lovers and get married. After a while, Suman has a severe and that affects his spine and is advised by doctors not to do samsaaram with his wife. Bhanu Chandar (a friend of Suman) comes to know about this issue and starts doing the sexual-harassment to Syamala. Unable to bear the torture, she kills Bhanu Chandar. At the same, time Suman undergoes a spinal operation and becomes normal and the couple starts living happily ever after.
